South Brooklyn Launches Redesigned Website
.

NEW YORK—January 23, 2010—After much anticipation, the Communication Department at South Brooklyn Seventh-day Adventist Church took the wrappings off of its redesigned new website. Southbrooklynsda.org will be the online arm for South Brooklyn’s evangelistic outreach, tapping into audiences previously unavailable by providing content and resources direct to website visitor’s Internet-enabled devices.

The new website will feature a clean modern, design; new usability enhancements; frequently updated content; relevant, targeted information; an online giving option where users can return tithe and give offerings; and integrated forms for prayer, visitors, and information gathering. In addition, the redesigned website takes advantage of Web 2.0 concepts and social networking by implementing Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Flickr, and blogging technologies.

By redesigning the church website, South Brooklyn intends to move ahead vigorously into the online space and provide the content that website visitors need in alternative ways, much as has been requested. With handheld and mobile devices on the rapid increase, South Brooklyn is poised to meet the evangelistic needs of such visitors.  To accommodate the growing Internet usability and demographics, South Brooklyn has ensured that the website will be an enjoyable, useable experience on Mac and Windows PCs, as well as Internet-enabled devices such as iPhones and BlackBerrys.

In addition to visiting South Brooklyn at southbrooklynsda.org, you can visit South Brooklyn Seventh-day Adventist Church at 1313 Bedford Avenue, on the corner of Atlantic Avenue. A spacious parking lot is available.

South Brooklyn Seventh-day Adventist Church is a family-oriented, salvation-minded church that loves to talk about Jesus, as well as spend time with our members, friends, and visitors in fellowship and good times. South Brooklyn is led by Pastor Dr. John W. Jones, an ordained minister in the Seventh-day Adventist Church, and he is supported by a Board of Elders, Clerks, and church officers who love Jesus Christ and have committed their time, treasures, and talents to God’s service.
