NEW YORK—January 1, 2010—South Brooklyn Seventh-day Adventist Church, under the leadership of Dr. John W. Jones, Pastor, started the new year off right with a banquet hosted by the South Brooklyn Cougars Pathfinder team. While many New Yorkers toasted the new year in Times Square, South Brooklyn enjoyed, food, fellowship, and fun in the Fellowship Hall.
Seeking to provide a safe and wholesome venue for its members, South Brooklyn has been hosting the annual celebration to eager audiences for many years. 2010 continued the legacy and was hosted by Elder Jose Wright, Sr. Additionally, the South Brooklyn Cougars provided the wholesome entertainment, music, and decorations. Entrees and refreshments were provided courtesy South Brooklyn's in-house chef, Chef George Kitt.
