NEW YORK—January 9, 2010—Dr. John W. Jones, current Pastor of South Brooklyn Seventh-day Adventist Church, posed for his official pastoral portrait. Staged in the pastoral study, the fast-paced photo shoot was designed to capture the essence of South Brooklyn’s pastor. His will be the latest portrait to grace the walls outside of the pastoral study, which showcases pastors from South Brooklyn’s illustrious past.
Taking advantage of digital technology, Dr. Jones’ portrait was created using a digital camera. Behind-the-scenes footage was recorded and uploaded to South Brooklyn’s YouTube page. This significant change in procedure is in harmony with Dr. Jones’ push to take South Brooklyn “to another level”, one different from the past.
You can visit South Brooklyn Seventh-day Adventist Church at 1313 Bedford Avenue, on the corner of Atlantic Avenue. A spacious parking lot is available.
